Steamboy, Possibly the world's first and best steampunk twin lens reflex camera.
Ready for you, m’dear reader, to personalize!
Of course, one could finish this by adding brass curlicues and whatnots but that would not allow our dear customer to add their own soupcon of beautiful-ness to what is already a mighty work of art.
Designed and made by one of the world's foremost camera makers Mike Rignall, from an original idea by Steve Cox, Steamboy offers the collector a unique opportunity to obtain, not only a truly unique object but also one of the few 360 degree twin lens reflex cameras in existence. A complete manual for this work is available here
Created by the join feverish workings of two verging-on-the-unsound minds, Rignall & Cox have produced what could only be described as something that resembles the fabled but never fruitful fictional releationship between The Great Western Railway, Fox-Talbot and Rollei.
Aye, theirs ‘twas a missed opportunity that we have put aright.
To aid the discerning gentleman or lady photographer and to increase the pleasure of the taking of a photographic image in all weather conditions, we have included a built-in thermometer, inclinometer and hygrometer. Our customers will be pleased to know that Steamboy has a negligible carbon footprint and no animals were harmed during its manufacture.
